Apple releases iOS 5 beta 4 and iTunes 10.5 beta 4, brings OTA update and Wi-Fi Sync to Windows

Last night, Apple released iOS 5 beta 4 for iDevice owners together with iTunes beta 4 for Windows and Mac OS X. In this update, Apple implemented for the first time the possibility to update OTA directly from the phone for the new version of the operating system. Update OTA or Over-The-Air allows us to update only the new components of the operating system directly from the phone without having to use iTunes. Unfortunately, this update system does not work on jailbroken terminals, so if you have jailbroken iOS 5 beta 4, do not try to update OTA because it will not work.

iOS 5 beta 4 finally brings the possibility to synchronize iDevices with iTunes via Wi-Fi, but we will discuss more about this function later. You can install iOS 5 beta 4 on your terminal only if you receive the new version of iOS from an iOS application developer. The last beta version of iOS 5 was released a week ago.
