GroupTones allows setting ringtones for groups of contacts

GroupTones is a new tweak released in Cydia this very evening that brings a new feature for iDevice owners, the ability to set ringtones for contacts. By installing this tweak we will be able to set certain ringtones from our terminals to "sing" when a contact from a certain group calls us. The tweak has a dedicated submenu in the Settings menu and from there we can choose the ringtones that are set for each individual group. GroupTones even works with FaceTime calls and does not prevent setting individual tones for each contact.

Grouptones lets you assign a unique ringtone and text tone to each of your contact groups. From now on you'll know who's calling without even looking at your iPhone.

– You're still able to assign ringtones and text tones to individual contacts
– Supports local, MobileMe, and Google contact groups
– Supports FaceTime calls
- Smoothly integrates into system apps rather than being a separate application

iPhone's contacts list does not show groups unless you create them by syncing some from your Mac/PC beforehand

GroupTones is available for $2.99 in Cydia in the BigBoss repo. In order to be able to set a ringtone for a group, you must first have groups of contacts in iOS.
