NoSearchCorrect – disables the auto correct function in Safari

NoSearchCorrect is a new tweak developed by the Italian developer Filippo Bigarella that blocks the autocorrect function in the search box of the Safari browser in iOS. Practically, when you write a word in the search box in Safari, you will no longer have the word automatically corrected, this being the only functionality of NoSearchCorrect. The tweak was developed following a question posed by comex on Twitter, 10 minutes were needed to complete it and for now NoSearchCorrect works 100% correctly with iOS 4.x, on iOS 3.x it has not been tested and on iOS 5 is not needed because Apple blocked the only correct auto function in the Safari browser. The tweak works with any iDevice and the installation on iOS 3.xo is done at your own risk.

NoSearchCorrect can be downloaded as a .deb file and installed by here.
