Sony promotes TVs with pictures from OS X Lion

What you see in the image above is not a TV produced by Sony in collaboration with Apple and no, it does not run OS X Lion. Apparently those from Sony s- they thought that the presentation image of OS X Lion on Apple's Macs would also look very good on the screen of their own televisions and I have to admit that the move is smart. When an Apple fan sees the image in question, they think of OS X Lion and a Mac, and from there to a television made by Apple, there is not much to "go" considering that there have been rumors about the launch of such a product.

What we see in the image is the Andromeda galaxy, which of course was not made by Apple. Even so, the respective image is processed by Apple's engineers and if the company from Cupertino wanted, it could also sue Sony for promoting its own products with images of Apple products. Some will probably say that Apple would exaggerate if they asked to remove these images from Sony's products, but from a moral point of view, I think that such a thing should not be done because it generates confusion among consumers.

Below you have a comparison between the Andromeda galaxy and the image for OS X Lion.
