Video: Toshiba AT200, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Lenovo IdeaPad A1 and ViewSonic ViewPad 7e presented at IFA Berlin 2011

Because IFA Berlin 2011 is taking place these days and Android tablet manufacturers have launched some interesting products, I thought I would present them to you to give you an idea of what you can find on the market now and what you can buy instead of the iPad tablet. In the clips below you can see Toshiba AT200 (the thinnest tablet in the world with only 7.7mm thickness), Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, ViewSonic ViewPad 7e and Lenovo IdeaPad A1. Only the Toshiba tablet is 10.1 inches, the rest of the tablets are 7 inches, one size perfect suitable for watching movies, surfing the web and taking up a lot of space in a backpack.

Only the Toshiba AT200 and ViewSonic ViewPad 7e run Android Honeycomb, the other tablets run Android Gingerbread (the version for smartphones of Android), but although the tablets lose points in the software chapter, they gain others in the hardware chapter. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the most powerful of all, having a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and a resolution of 1200×800 px, practically surpassing the iPad 2 tablet. The tablets are interesting, I don't think any of them were designed to surpass the iPad 2 but I think that manufacturers should focus more on tablets with 10-inch screens instead of 7-inch ones.

Having said that, below is a hands-on video with each.
