Jean Michel Jarre, one of the pioneers of electronic music, has launched at IFA Berlin 2011 the world's largest dock for Apple's iPod Touch. In the image above we have represented the new dock which is 3.35 meters high, half a meter thick, weighs 396 kilograms and has a power of 10.000 watts. Of course, the dock comes equipped with 10.000 watt speakers, but also with a ladder that allows our device to be mounted in the dock, everything being done out of the pure desire to demonstrate what you can do with the help of technology.

With the progress of technology, the conditions of recording music in the studio have advanced considerably, whereas the means of listening in general have not ceased to regress: the vinyl has been replaced by the CD, largely inferior in quality, which has now given way to even more low-grade MP3 files. We have progressively lost our emotional rapport with sound.

The "Dock" is equipped with 5 separate amplifiers (a subwoofer, 2 mid range and 2 high range) and each product is built according to the customer's specifications. You are probably wondering how much such a product costs, well the sale price is €399.000 (approximately $566.000) and a good part of it is the fact that it was built by Jean Michel Jarre. For those with less money available for such eccentricities there is one AreoDreamOne Mini which costs only €799, has smaller dimensions, less power but is made by the same Jean Michel Jarre.
