HTC sues Apple using patents bought from Google

Until today, Apple and HTC had several ongoing lawsuits, one of them very important in which Apple requested the blocking of the sale of HTC products in the USA. Of course, so far none of the companies has obtained what they wanted in any of the processes, but HTC is forcing a "victory" and yes the company Apple in court for the infringement of 4 invention patents. These patents were acquired by HTC from Motorola Inc., Palm Inc. and Openwave Systems Inc. just a few days before the trial, so it seems that they were specially bought for a fight against the Apple company.

The 4 patents that HTC claims Apple infringed were originally held by Motorola, which had brought similar accusations against Apple in the past. It is as clear as possible that Google wants to help its partners fight against the Apple company and probably in the near future the company from Cupertino will have to consider taking legal action against the source, that is, the Google company. Android OS was developed by Google, but until now Apple has refrained from suing the giant from Mountain View and probably this attitude will not change in the near future.

The problems between HTC and Apple will probably be solved through some reciprocal technology licensing agreements and everything will return to normal.
