A new major version of redsn0w is about to be released!

    Today MuscleNerd announced on his Twitter account that a new and very important version of redsn0w is going to be released soon. In the image above we have a presentation of the new functions implemented by the Dev Team and as you can see there are a lot of changes that will make the jailbreak process easier. Everything starts with removing the step in which we had to select an ipsw to perform the jailbreak, redsn0w taking the necessary files directly from Apple's servers, but the list of novelties is large and includes:

  • dividing the interface into 2: jailbreak and the rest of the options;
  • implementing the possibility to extract SHSHs from our terminal;
  • implementing the option to verify the extracted SHSHs and send them to Cydia for verification;
  • implementing an option that allows us to select the SHSHs we want to use with a custom ipsw.

    The options above are the most important, but for now there is not much information about how they will work. MuscleNerd has announced that it will release this new version of redsn0w in the following days and as you can see there are a lot of important news. After the release of this version of redsn0w I will clarify all the details related to the implemented functions.

    The release of this new version could take place until Monday when MuscleNerd should leave for South Korea.
