TinyPwn – an alternative to PwnageTool and sn0wbreeze

Notcom is the developer of the TinyUmbrella program with which we can save SHSHs for our iDevices even without jailbreak, SHSHs that can later be used to restore to old versions of iOS. Besides TinyUmbrella, notcom has other ongoing projects, one of them being TinyPwn, a program that will imitate the functionality of PwnageTool and sn0wbreeze. Of course, the program will contain other functions that are not found in the programs of the Dev Team and iH8sn0w, but for now too many details about it have not been revealed by notcom.

notcom has been working on this project for 6 months and finally managed to port the code from PwnageTool 2.0 into its new program together with the limera1n exploit. Of course, he has a lot of work ahead of him until TinyPwn is finished, but the program promises to be an interesting one that may turn out to be much more useful than PwnageTool and sn0wbreeze, especially since it will work on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. I will let you know when TinyPwn will be available, but until then you can use the already existing programs to make a custom ipsw.
