A few months ago I told you that EA Games is preparing a new version of the FIFA game for the iOS platform that will allow us to use the iPhone terminals as a controller for the iPad tablet. We practically turn the iPad tablet into a console in FIFA 12 because together with a friend we can play FIFA 12 against each other on an iPad tablet exactly as you see in the video clip below. This is the first implementation of such a system in an iOS game and to be honest I am extremely interested in testing it as soon as it appears in the App Store.
FIFA 12 will bring some improvements in terms of graphics, will have a completely redone menu for the iPad tablet and will bring us back to the "career" mode that was removed from the version released last year. Even so, the most interesting part seems to me to be the new multiplayer mode that turns the iPad tablet into a console, and I hope that other application developers will follow the EA Games model. The release of FIFA 12 will take place at the end of this month on September 29/30 and I for one can't wait for it.
