Custom Double Space – replaces the empty space with a predefined expression

Custom Double Space is a tweak released this evening in Cydia that allows iDevice owners to use the space key of the virtual keyboard to write predefined expressions. Custom Double Space has a dedicated menu in the Settings application of iOS and from that menu we can activate/deactivate the tweak and we can set the expression that is entered automatically when the action is activated. To enter the desired expression, we only have to press the space key twice inside a phrase, the activation method is very simple and useful for any user.

Replaces ". ” text when pressing the space 2 times and writes the text you set in Preferences.app. SBSettings toggle is included too.

In iOS 5 this tweak will be useless because Apple has implemented the possibility to set abbreviations for words entered in messages, but in iOS 4 it is a good method to save you from entering certain expressions. Custom Double Space is available for free in Cydia in the BigBoss repo.
