Steve Jobs and the tribute paid during the conference on October 4

I don't know if you followed iPhone 4S presentation conference or not, but if you did then you surely noticed that Tim Cook, Phil Schiller, Scott Forstall, but even the audience were deprived of the enthusiasm of the old releases. Tim Cook spoke very little, Phil Schiller presented the iPhone 4S as if he was forced to do it even though he didn't want to, but in reality probably everyone knew that the inevitable will happen. Or maybe it had already happened considering that in the hall, on the row reserved for Apple executives, there was an empty chair at the edge of the row, a chair on which Steve Jobs, the founder of the company, should have sat.

Looking back, it is understandable why the atmosphere during the conference was sometimes lacking in enthusiasm, why it seemed that something was missing. Steve Jobs was the one who made the audience stand up no matter what he presented, he was the one who made a product seem extraordinary even though in reality it wasn't, he was the one who sold everything Apple produced. Without him, the Apple company will have a hard life, it will have to carry on the burden of innovation without the one who innovated, and I for one hope that in the coming years great products will not be missing from the portfolio of one of the largest companies in the world.
