iPhone 4S is the fastest smartphone for surfing the web and playing games

I was telling you yesterday that the new iPhone 4S arrived in the hands of some Chinese who made a short presentation of it but also made some benchmarks. It seems that these benchmarks prove that Apple's new iPhone is the fastest mobile terminal for surfing the web, faster than the Samsung Galaxy S II or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet. In the first 2 images of this article you have the benchmarks made for surfing the web and for Javascript, and in the first iPhone 4S gets a score 80% better than the Samsung Galaxy S II and only a few points better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. In the second test, the tablet from Samsung obtains a score of only 2 points better than that of the iPhone 4S, but the Samsung Galaxy S II is 95% slower.

Those from Anandtech publishes and some synthetic tests for the graphic component of the new iPhone 4S which seems to have the dual core PowerVR 543MP2 graphic chip, just like the iPad 2 tablet. In these tests only the Apple tablet proves to be faster and that is normal so be it considering that it has a more powerful processor. In conclusion, in these tests the iPhone 4S is much faster than the Samsung Galaxy S II, but it remains to be seen how it will fare in the real world against the Samsung smartphone.
