After the presentation of Siri last week, countless comparisons were made between the Apple voice command system and the Android OS voice command system. The owners of Android terminals defended their operating system, they said that Siri is useless, but the clip above shows the reality. Siri is much more complex than the voice command system in Android OS, it requires much less interaction to give users exactly what they need and of course it recognizes spoken words much better.
Now Google will rush to copy implement similar functions in Android OS and probably next year the owners of the respective terminals will have them available. Until then, Apple has revolutionized the way we use our smartphones, now it only remains for the competition to catch up and force them to innovate again. I will try to do detailed tests as soon as I get hold of an iPhone 4S, but based on the video clip above, Siri seems to be much more advanced than the system offered in Android OS.
