   Last night the companies Samsung and Google they presented the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the third device in the Nexus series designed by Google a few years ago. We are talking about a smartphone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwitch, the latest version of the operating system developed by Google, a terminal with a 4.65-inch curved screen and of course a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The new terminal from Samsung is of course as "powerful" as the Samsung Galaxy S II, but thanks to the new version of the operating system it will most likely have better performance in terms of browsing the web, opening applications and running games .

    Here are the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus:

  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich);
  • Super AMOLED HD 4.65-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×720) and 316 PPI, less than iPhone 4/4S;
  • dual-core 1.2GHz TI OMAP4460 processor;
  • 1GB RAM;
  • 32GB internal memory;
  • 4G LTE/HSPA + connectivity;
  • the 5 megapixel camera capable of recording Full HD informed 1080p at 30 fps;
  • 1.3 megapixel front camera;
  • 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi;
  • Bluetooth 3.0;
  • NFC;
  • Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Barometer;
  • 1,750 mAh battery;

    Now of course a comparison with the new iPhone 4S launched by Apple, comparison which we will also see made in video clips starting in November when the device will be officially launched on the market.

    I have to admit that the terminal from Samsung looks good, but for me the big problem is the 4.65-inch screen, which I don't see the point of in a smartphone at the moment. From the point of view of the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus seems more attractive than the iPhone 4S, but the difference in performance can only be considered from this perspective because we are talking about completely different operating systems. What do you think about the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus launched by Samsung?
