ScreenTest fixes stuck pixels, diagnoses problems with Backlight Bleeding

ScreenTest is a new application for iDevices that promises to solve the problems with dead pixels but also to diagnose the problems with the backlight bleeding of the screens of our terminals. The developer of the application claims that it has implemented several advanced logarithms that allow the display of images that have the role of "waking up" the blocked pixels, but which, if they are run for a reasonable period of time, will not affect your screen. Unfortunately, I have seen many problems with blocked pixels on iDevice screens and Apple does not really change the terminals in these situations, so an application of this kind could prove to be useful for users.

Intended to help you correct stuck pixels in your iPhone, iPad, iPod and external screens. This isn't just another "test" that you can find online, this APP uses a logarithm which, at a high frequency, excite pixels and hopefully release their stuck state. Do you want to know if your screen has Backlight Bleeding? And if so, in which range? Soft? Medium? Hard? Screens are designed to display rapidly changing images for many years. Running ScreenTest for a reasonable time will not cause damage to your screen. ScreenTest has been used to successfully repair thousands of screens. Other applications and videos which turn the entire screen on and off rapidly cause a significant strain on the power circuitry and could damage your screen. ScreenTest's logarithm ensures that the average power requirement is roughly constant which is safer than other methods.

ScreenTest is available for free in Cydia, so you can download it from the BigBoss repo and try it on your terminals. If you manage to unlock pixels with it or if you manage to diagnose problems with backlight bleeding, please leave a comment.
