Samsung's request to ban the sale of the iPhone 4S terminal in Italy is rejected

Very shortly after the presentation of the iPhone 4S, Samsung introduced applications in several European countries claiming that Apple's terminal infringes patents owned by the Asian company. Italy was one of these countries and today the court where this application was filed rejected the claims of those from Samsung giving the "green light" for the launch of the iPhone 4S in Italy. This is the second time that Samsung has rejected a request regarding the ban on the sale of iDevices, the first being rejected by a Dutch court.

The interesting part is that this request, like the one in the Netherlands, was based on patents for data transmission technologies using 3G/GSM networks, patents that Apple allegedly infringed. The efforts of those from Samsung are in vain and this was predicted by several analysts a few months ago. In France, Samsung has a similar request submitted to a court and as the situation presents itself, it seems that there will be no win for the Asian company either.
