Epic Games is one of the largest game developers for the iOS platform and last year decided to bring the Unreal Engine 3 graphics engine to iOS application developers. The graphics engine used in the Infinity Blade game would later be used in other popular games from the App Store and now I'm talking about a new one called Epoch. The action in Epoch takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where you have to fight to discover the cause of the war that decimated the world's population.

Created by ex-Irrational Games developers Andrew James and Ed Orman, Epoch takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where you fight a never-ending robot war to unravel the mystery of the planet's end.

Combat is handled with simple flicks and swipes of your device's screen, as you quickly vault between multiple cover points and pop-up to fill your opponents with lead.

Interesting for this game is the fact that we will control the characters using swipes, that is exactly like in the case of Infinity Blade. For now, only the screenshots in this article have been published for the game and it is not known when it will be officially released in the App Store or how much it will cost.
