We are talking about a game so popular that clothes, toys, mobile phone accessories, shoes were made after its characters and its developer company will open a chain of stores in China. Basically, Angry Birds is a business in continuous development and its success demonstrates the potential behind it.
Those from Rovio have published some statistics for Angry Birds:
- the application is in first place in 79 countries;
- 266 billion levels have been played;
- 400 billion birds have been slung;
- 44 billion stars have been collected by players;
- 200.000 thousand years were "lost" by users in the game;
- 300 million minutes are "lost" daily playing Angry Birds.
The application is available in the App Store in 3 versions: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio, but in the future its developers plan to expand the offer.
