Phillips BatterySense helps you improve your battery autonomy

The famous Phillips company is looking for a little publicity, so it launched an application in the App Store that should help iDevice owners improve their battery life. Basically, we are talking about an application that has been available in other forms for more than two years in the App Store, but the people from Phillips have packaged everything in an eye-pleasing format. The application provides statistics about the usage time for various functions of our terminals, but it also offers some tips that should help users to improve battery autonomy.

Philips created this simple and intuitive app to help you get the most out of your device when you're in between charges. By telling it what you need to do and for how long, BatterySense can recommend what settings to adjust to achieve more battery life while on the go. BatterySense is a free app that shows you what iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad functions you can use and for how long based on your device's current battery charge. It also suggests ways to preserve battery life based on how long you need your battery to last.

Phillips BatterySense is of course free and if you already know how to "plan" the use of the terminal then the application will be useless. If you still have a new iDevice, then maybe you will learn something new with the help of this application. What if function? it's the one where you get recommendations for improving battery life, so I recommend opening it first.

The application is universal, so it works on both iPhone and iPad.

  1. I've been looking for such an application for a long time, out of the thousands on appsore, I haven't found any, because this is mocca (cofe).

  2. Haha, another app that tells us to disable functions to increase autonomy – the general conclusion is long known: the more primitive the phone, the more autonomy it has; if you want a "dumbphone" instead of a smartphone, cut off the functions and you'll have more battery for ... talking, because it won't know how to do anything else! 🙂

  3. @zaone: Phew, the information seems to have a different aura if it comes from ditai, the Dutch electronics expert... 🙂 But personally, the article on iDevice.ro was enough for me! 😉
