iOS 5.0.1 does not solve battery life problems for all users

The main reason why Apple rushed iOS release 5.0.1 it was the battery life which unfortunately wasn't that great with the new iOS 5. Although a beta version was released for developers and several hundred or thousands of users had the opportunity to test it separately, on the discussion forums of the company, there are still people who claim that the problems with autonomy have not been solved. Moreover, some claim that iOS 5.0.1 worsened their battery autonomy, which was not a problem before.

New update is no help at all. I opened Safari and lost 2% just by opening it.

Upgraded to 5.0.1 this morning. Still draining at the exact same rate. Unplugged with a full charge 2 1/2 hours ago, and already down to 80% with light usage. Just lost 2% during a 15 minute shower. I see no difference at all.

Same here. Updated about 1.5 hours ago, battery has drained 20% since then with no usage! This is awful!

Roughly the same numbers here.

I don't know how most of them updated, but I'll tell you a secret: if you have problems with autonomy and want to get rid of them (or any others), do a restore to iOS 5 and after that DO NOT restore a backup. By performing a clean restore, you ensure that you do not import possible problems of the operating system through the backup. I know that you have to reinstall all the applications and you lose some things, but if you want to get rid of problems, this is the best solution.
