JabMe is an application available in the App Store for a short time that allows iDevice owners to communicate in a rudimentary way with their friends on Game Center. I'm still waiting for Apple to introduce a chat in its application for Game Center, but until then JabMe offers us the possibility to poke/punch our friends on Game Center, in a similar way to that offered by Facebook. Basically, you install the application, tell it that you want to connect to Game Center and then choose the friends you want to poke/punch.
Now you can jab your Game Center and Facebook friends. Send jab messages with awesome sounds to your friends. It's the world's first app to let you message your Game Center friends. Jab back and forth with anyone on Game Center and Facebook. Choose from many jab actions and sound effects too. Because it uses Push Notification, it's unlimited. So jab all you want. Start a Jab War! Get the highest number of jabs and put your name on the leaderboard. Climb up the ranks and earn your Warmonger achievement badge. Play against your friends and the world.
Unfortunately, the application is limited to interactions like this, and of course your friends must have it installed, otherwise they won't be able to receive anything. The application has a whole series of other actions that can be taken, but they are not free, but must be purchased through in-app purchases for €0.79 each. I was hoping to see a real messaging application, but maybe in the future those from XVision will be allowed by Apple to do something like this.
