Apple assures Europeans that they will be able to purchase iDevices even if Motorola imposes the decision won yesterday

Yesterday the Motorola company won in a German court the right to ban the sale of iDevices that have 3G connectivity because Apple infringed a Motorola patent when it developed them. The decision was given by a court in Germany, it is preliminary but can be imposed by the Motorola company. The decision refers to the Apple branch in Ireland that deals with the import of iDevices for European countries and practically Motorola can prohibit the import of iDevices but not the sale of the existing stock.

We're going to appeal the court's ruling right away. Holiday shoppers in Germany should have no problem finding the iPad or iPhone they want.

An Apple spokesperson stated says that an appeal will be filed against the preliminary decision, but even if it is not successful, Apple will be able to sell the stock of iDevices from its own stores and the company claims that there are enough terminals for anyone who wants it. In fact, the victory of Motorola could affect Apple in the future, but at the moment and during the holidays, those from Cupertino seem to be "covered" in terms of stocks.
