iDevice.ro mini review: Mili Power Pack 4

I have had a case for more than 3 weeks Mili Power Pack 4 equipped with an external battery of 3000 mAh. You can see the case in the image above, it's quite thick, it's quite heavy, it changes the design of the iPhone, but it saves you from recharging your iDevice every day. The case with a capacity of 3000 mAh is able to charge an iPhone 4S 1.5 times, under the conditions in which the terminal is used to its full capacity. In practice, Mili Power Pack 4 fully charges an iPhone 4S once and the second time charges it 50-75%, depending on how you use the device during charging.

The first charge of the case took over 12 hours, but now a full charge is done in about 4-5 hours, depending on the method used. We are talking about a very large battery that needs time to fully charge and on my Mac Mini in 5 hours it is ready to be attached to the iPhone. Although the iPhone doubles in thickness and weight, for me the change is worth it because I can be sure that I can leave home at any time without having to worry about the fact that the iPhone no longer has enough battery and it could shut down out of the blue anytime.

Milli Power Pack 4 cost me $80, including shipping in Romania and customs, and the purchase price on Amazon.com was $70, although on Milli's website it costs around $100. There were cheaper alternatives with a bit more capacity, but I chose to have an iPhone case and not a soap dish that I have to connect with a cable to my iDevice. In conclusion, for me the case is worth the money, of course it is not for everyone considering that you lose the thin and beautiful design of the iPhone terminal.
