Navigon is one of the best navigation software for iDevices and today the company behind it launched an update in the App Store. The new version of the application usually brings bug fixes, but it also brings some changes to the product. Most of the improvements implemented by the company in the update are related to the way the maps are downloaded in the application because users had problems either with connecting to the server or with the impossibility of downloading all available maps with a single button press.
Here's what Navigon 2.0.1 brings:
- Resolved initial server connection issues for downloading maps
- Favorites and recent destinations will now appear automatically after the application is updated
- Reintroduced the integrated iPod control in response to customer feedback
- Added "select all" option in map manager to download all maps at one time
- Improved VoiceOver support (for visually impaired)
- Further UI refinements
Unfortunately, updated maps are not available in this update.
