Pod2G collaborates with the Chronic Dev team, tries to speed up the release of the untethered jailbreak solution

As you already know, Pod2G is working on an untethered jailbreak solution for our iDevices, it is almost 100% compatible with all terminals sold by Apple, but publishing it is a bit complicated. Because the solution is not yet ready for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, Pod2G decided to give Chronic Dev the exploit for untethered jailbreak and they will complete the solution and release it for the old terminals: iPhone 3GS/4, iPad 1/2 and iPod Touch 3G/4G. Pod2G will continue to work on the untethered jailbreak solution for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S and will release it...probably after iOS 5.1 is available in iTunes.

Also, I know there are tons of people out there with A4 or even earlier devices who want the untether now and don't care about it could be interesting to wait A5 is finished to release or even 5.1, so that we don't waste an exploit that took me months to find and develop. I need to focus on A5 and hope I can find a path quickly, and I have the feeling that chronic-dev could help me.

So, here is what I did:
– I gave all the details to the chronic dev team so that they can finish, test, integrate and release the A4 jb ASAP.
– I'll put all my energy from now on on the A5

Of course, it is not known when the untethered jailbreak solution for old terminals will be released, but as soon as it appears, I will let you know.
