Apple - the most significant \"present\" at CES 2012

Apple Think Different

Apple stopped participating in CES many years ago, but that does not mean that many of the products presented there are not related to everything that Apple does or will do. Last year at CES 2011, many accessories for iDevices were presented, and this says a lot about the impact the company has, even if it does not actually participate in the event. This year I expect the big accessory manufacturers to "come up" to bring us all kinds of complementary devices for our iDevices, not very cheap devices but probably useful for some of us.

However, we do not limit ourselves only to accessories because a good part of the manufacturers of mobile terminals think of their products according to what Apple has now on the market but also according to what it will have in the future. Last year, many Android OS tablets were presented at CES 2011 in an attempt to convince consumers to forget about the iPad tablet. Unfortunately, this did not happen and probably this year will not be much different. Of course, not only new tablets were announced last year, but also smartphones that seriously affected the market share of iPhones produced by Apple. This year the first quad-core smartphones and tablets will be announced at CES 2012 and the iPad 3/iPhone 4S will fight them in Q1/Q2 2012.

Finally, we reach the laptop/ultrabook manufacturers who will try to bring to the market new models that will convince users to take their thinking from the MacBook Pro/Air. In recent months, Macs have recorded very good sales, while the PC market has steadily declined, and manufacturers want to change this. Many ultrabooks will be presented next week, all of them will fight with the MacBook Air, but it is not known how many will succeed in "breaking the market" and stealing from the MacBooks' share.

In conclusion, Apple will not be physically present at the event, but a good part of those who will be will try to bring to the market devices that will make Apple products forgotten in 2012.
