Siri and the untethered jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S

These days the untethered jailbreak solution for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S is going to be released and I know that many of you can't wait to use the personal assistant Siri on your own iDevice. At the moment Siri can be installed on an iDevice using Spirals but the method will help you install a non-functional assistant interface because no one can provide a complete method to install and use Siri on old iDevices. The reason behind the lack of such a solution lies in the fact that to use Siri with an old iDevice you need registration tokens from an iPhone 4S, tokens that change daily.

After the jailbreak solution for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S is released, we will probably have a functional port of Siri for the old iDevices, but no one knows how long it will take from the release of the jailbreak solution to the release of the port. chpwn made Spire, Steve Throughton-Smith ported Siri to the old iDevices and managed to connect it to Apple's servers, but it is not known when you will be able to do it too. After the untethered jailbreak solution is officially launched, I will keep you updated on the eventual development process of a port of Siri for old iDevices, but I recommend you not to get too high hopes about it.
