sn0wbreeze turns 2 years old, iH8sn0w releases version 2.9 which brings a lot of news

  sn0wbreeze, the most complex program for Windows that allows us to make a custom ipsw for our iDevices, has turned 2 years old and iH8sn0w thought to launch a new version of it. sn0wbreeze 2.9 was released last night by iH8sn0w and it brings a lot of interesting things for iDevice users. It all starts with the possibility of making a custom ipsw untethered for almost all iDevices, except iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, and ends with the possibility of integrating SHSHs from TinyUmbrella or iFaith in such a custom ipsw.

  Here is the entire changelog of sn0wbreeze 2.9:

  • Changes to the user interface;
  • Possibility to make a custom ipsw using SHSHs saved with TinyUmbrella/iFaith;
  • The possibility to remove the notification by which we are notified that we have available a new update for iOS 5;
  • Option to download ipsws directly from sn0wbreeze;
  • iREB r5 is now integrated into sn0wbreeze;
  • The function of adding packages from Cydia that are installed during the restore works now.
