A few minutes ago the developer of SAM, the patch with which we can activate an iDevice to be able to use the Push notification system, announced the launch of a new version of the program. This new version is compatible with iPhone 4S and iOS 5, but unfortunately it does not allow saving the activation made for an iPhone 4S terminal. Although SAM allows the activation of an iPhone 4S, the problem is that the terminal must have already been jailbroken to install SAM from Cydia, so a jailbreak solution is needed to activate an iPhone 4S terminal and jailbreak it to be able to use Cydia.
Considering that the Dev Team has not yet released a version of redsn0w that jailbreaks iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, it is possible that in the following days SAM will be included in redsn0w. For now we know for sure that we will be able to activate an iPhone 4S using SAM and we will find out more details about the activation in the following days.
