VoiceUtils is a tweak that we discussed over the weekend and which allows iPhone 4S terminal owners to open applications by simply saying their name in the Siri assistant interface. This kind of tweaks have been awaited for months by iDevice owners and here they are finally available, although they only work in English. Until recently, VoiceUtils only allowed the opening of native iOS applications, but thanks to an update released last night, it can now open any iOS applications, including webclips.

You can now launch any app with your voice. Stock apps, all third party apps, and even webclips, just say "open" or "launch" followed by the app's name on your homescreen.

Simply saying the words Open/Launch iDevice.ro will generate the opening of the application and Siri starts to become really interesting. VoiceUtils is available for free in Cydia. In combination with Hands-Free Control, you can give commands to Siri without actually opening the assistant's interface.
