iOS 5 Battery Fix - here's how you can install it on your own iPhone

A few days ago we talked about iOS 5 Battery Fix, a Cydia tweak that should help owners of iPhone 4S terminals to solve the battery autonomy problems that the device has. The tweak was until recently only available in a VIP repo of an American forum, but now you can install it on your own device by downloading a simple file from the web. Unfortunately, I have not yet managed to test this tweak on my own terminal, but I will try to install it and in the following days I will return with impressions about how it affects or not the battery autonomy of an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.0.1.

1. Download the installation package available here. It is preferable to do it on your own terminal using Safari download manager because it is easier to install.

2. Install the file using either iFile or MobileTerminal. In order not to receive errors during installation, you must install Erica Utilities, bash and system-cmds from Cydia.

3. Reset your iPhone 4S and in the following days you should see if it has any effect or not.

iOS 5 Battery Fix was designed only for iPhone 4S with at least iOS 5 installed, so do not try to install it on other terminals.
