The US government chooses Android over iOS

Although Apple is starting to attract more and more business and educational customers, here is the American government ales to equip its employees with Android smartphones. We are talking about Android smartphones that will be offered to soldiers, members of federal agencies and other high-ranking US officials, and the terminals will run a special version of Android OS. The US government seems to have chosen to go for a partnership with Google and several Android terminal manufacturers because the operating system of the Mountain View company is much easier to configure in order to meet all the requirements necessary for the distribution and use of secret documents.

Another main reason behind this decision is the fact that Google gave the US government the ability to modify the operating system at will and Apple did not. The US government will work closely with Google's engineers to update its terminals to each new version of Android within a maximum of 14 days from its publication, an extremely short period of time because usually such an update is available to the general public every few months after the launch and all because of Android terminal manufacturers.

For Apple, we are talking about a market sector from which they would have earned hundreds of millions or maybe even billions of dollars, but the refusal to provide access to their own operating system has left them with nothing for now.
