Yesterday I told you that in the traffic statistics of iDevice.ro we discovered an access made from a device presented by the Tapatalk application as an iPad HD. Checking the traffic logs, I discovered that on January 9, the one shown in the picture as the first iPad HD to access the forum, a device with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 accessed iDevice.ro. It has been rumored since 2010 that an iPad tablet equipped with Retina Display will have a screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and I discovered that iDevice.ro was accessed several times by such a device.
It all started in April when the first access was made and ended on January 9 when the last one was made, but corroborating the information provided by the Tapatalk application and Google Analytics, I notice that the forum was accessed several times, but directly using the Tapatalk application. The device used to access iDevice.ro seems to be a tablet with Retina DIsplay resolution and, again, corroborating the information from the two pictures, it seems to be an iPad 3 or iPad HD from Apple. This information does not confirm that Apple will surely release an iPad tablet with Retina Display, but they demonstrate that such a device has been and is certainly being tested.
It is possible that the accesses were made from a PC monitor with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 but with an unusual screen ratio, but this does not explain why the iPad HD was recorded on the exact same day.
