No Update is a tweak released tonight in Cydia that allows iDevice owners to block checks for OTA Updates in iOS 5. Apple included OTA Updates when it released iOS 5 with the idea of giving us the ability to to update the iOS of our iDevices directly from the terminals using a Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, these OTA Updates cannot be done from jailbroken terminals at the moment, but for those who don't even want to know that there is an OTA Update, the No Update tweak has appeared. As soon as you install the tweak, you will block the check in the Software Update section of iOS, at least until you uninstall the tweak.
We all Know that apple will Update their Firmware to patch the exploit. This stops new Software Being Discoverable in the Software Update Section in the Settings. app. This means this will stop any accidental Updates coming through and accidentally installing it. it will also show a message to show that the tweak has worked and no software will be discoverable (in the Software Section) if you decided you want to install the latest firmware just simply remove the tweak from cydia. (then upsetting returns to normal).
