SlideToMod is a new tweak released last night in Cydia that brings users new ways to unlock an iDevice. First let's talk about the customization options of the unlock slider, options that allow us to change the text slide to unlock, to add the time/date in the slider or not to display any text. Now let's move on to the important things because the second part of the SlideToMod menu in the Settings application allows us to: disable the Camera button from the LockScreen, disable the iPod control options, disable the SlideShow button on the iPad and... change the way we can unlock an iDevice. By activating the Hide UnlockBar function, you will hide the slider for unlocking an iDevice and you will be able to set in the Activator plugin a gesture through which you unlock the device. The gesture will be known only to you and can be either a double tap on the screen or a swype or a double tap of a physical button.

Before disabling the unlock bar, you must set a gesture in the Activator settings menu, otherwise you will no longer be able to unlock your iDevice and you will have to restore a backup or restore. SlideToMod is available for free in Cydia's ModMyi repo and I recommend you try it because it will help you block anyone's access to your iDevice.
