Steve Jobs was a board member of the US Department of Commerce

In some documents recently published by the FBI, information was discovered that indicated the fact that Steve Jobs was considered for the appointment as an expert advisor in the US Department of Commerce. Yesterday it was seen that the FBI investigated Steve Jobs and did not discover flattering things about him, but what was not said yesterday is that Steve Jobs occupied an expert position within the board of the Department of Commerce (the Romanian equivalent of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce) while George Bush I was president of the USA. Steve Jobs made proposals to the council regarding the measures it must take, but it is not specified whether he had decision-making power within the ministry.

The Commerce Department confirmed Thursday that Jobs did serve on the council during the first Bush administration.

Export council members serve in an unpaid capacity and meet at least twice a year, advising the president on trade policy.

More than that, Steve Jobs also worked with the US Department of Defense during the time he worked at Pixar and received access to classified documents. It seems that Steve Jobs had a rather interesting life during the time when George Bush I was president, but the same thing did not happen during the following two US presidential administrations.
