In general, car games are more successful than shooter games because the latter kind of games are not really that well built for touchscreens. I don't know if Max Payne will have the same success as Grand Theft Auto III, but I think that many users will rush to buy it as soon as it is available in the App Store.
Until they make Max Payne, I would have suggested that they release Vice City + San Andreas first. They said they would take them out... and san andreas would beat almost any ios/android game in terms of scope, storyline and more (you all know) :). Of course, Max Payne is a 10 grade game, but I was saying to finish with the GTAs. If they appeared on steam for mac, why not for ios?
