From then until today, 190 million applications have been downloaded and we are talking about a download rate of approximately 50 million applications per day. At the moment, a little over 500 million downloads are still needed to reach the number of 25 billion and based on the data from the previous days, it seems that in March Apple will have to give the prize of $10.000.
Apple does not take into account updates made to applications when it talks about downloads, so if you want to enter the contest, you must be careful to actually download an application from the App Store because downloading an update will not be taken into account.
