Apple blocks restocking of Apple TV until March 8

Apple TV 3G stock

It was rumored in recent months that Apple would launch a new model of Apple TV, and it seems that on March 7 we could see this product together with the iPad 3 tablet. Those from Appleinsider I claim that in certain stores in the US Apple has blocked the restocking of the new product until March 8, exactly after the iPad 3 presentation conference. The image above was taken in Apple's online store and what we see there the resellers see for several weeks because stocks of Apple TVs have been at a low level for a long time in Europe and beyond.

For three consecutive weeks, the Cupertino-based company has failed to make good on its promissory note to restock indirect channel partners with fresh inventory of the existing $99 Apple TV product, say people familiar with the matter. Instead, partners and channel members have seen Apple push back deliveries each consecutive week by one additional week — a practice that almost always foreshadows a formal discontinuation of a product ahead of new models.

Although no one can confirm the fact that Apple TV 3G would be presented then, there is still information that suggests that the new version of the product would come with a dual-core processor capable of playing movies in 1080p format and would it has integrated the personal assistant Siri. We will find out more on March 7 at 20:00 when I am waiting for you on iDevice.ro to discuss everything that will be presented then.
