20% of Americans who do not own an iPad tablet would buy such a product if it cost a maximum of $400

Un study carried out in the USA by RBC Capital Markets reveals the fact that 20% of Americans who do not own an iPad tablet could be persuaded to buy such a product if Apple sold it at the price of $400. We are talking here about those who paid $200 for a Kindle Fire tablet or those who did not have money for an iPad tablet, they would not have bought one belonging to the competitor. The study was conducted in the USA at the end of 2011 on no less than 1100 respondents and most of them claimed that they are not interested in buying an iPad tablet in the next 3 months at the prices requested by Apple.

The results of the study could be corroborated with this morning's information who claim that Apple would prepare an iPad 2 model that would cost $349-$399 and an iPad 3 model that would cost $249-$299 and could give the impression that Apples already knows everything I have presented to you and is preparing to capture a new part of the market. Now in the USA tablets are cheaper than in Romania and the purchasing power is obviously higher, but if an iPad 2 tablet was available here for €400, would you be willing to buy it?
