During this evening, the Apple company launched OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview 2 and along with it released a new beta version of OS X Lion 10.7.4 for Mac application developers. This is the first public beta version of the update for OS X Lion, Apple offering a preliminary version of it a week ago to a select number of developers. Apple recommends developers to test the Address Book, iCal and Mail applications, but the graphic card and printer drivers must also be checked.
OS X Lion 10.7.4 can be downloaded from the developer portal on Apple's website.
