DisableLaunch is a tweak recently released in Cydia that allows us to disable a whole series of iOS functions to protect the terminal from prying eyes. The tweak allows setting a password that must be entered every time you open an application, but it blocks the use of Siri and the Spotlight functionality to prevent applications from being opened by anyone who does not have your password. DisableLaunch Pro has a settings menu in the Settings app of iOS and there you can specify the activation method and you can customize the settings of the tweak and the applications that are protected by it.

Protect your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad by turning off the app launch. A tweak based on the free version.

New Features in Pro version:

  • Search Selection
  • Siri Speech
  • Bulletin List
  • Bulletin Widget
  • Better authentication with password
  • Better Specific Apps

From the free version:

  • multitasking
  • Specific Apps
  • Authentication with password
  • Activator Enable/Disable

Instructions for use:

  • After activation, go to Settings:
  • Choose Activation Methods
  • If you want a Password, enable Authentication and type the passcode.
  • The app Launch is enabled, to disable/enable just use chosen Activation Methods

DisableLaunch Pro is available for $0.99 in Cydia and can be a very good method to keep your iDevice-url protected from anyone.
