MyWi is a very powerful utility through which we can turn an iDevice into a Wi-Fi HotSpot that offers additional functionality compared to the Personal HotSpot in iOS. Of course, the application has become useless in Romania since all 4 major mobile phone operators offer Personal HotSpot for free, but if you travel outside the country, then MyWi could prove to be of great help to you. Version 5.5 released yesterday was redone for iOS 5.x, it brings better download speeds, better performance of the utility plus much more:

MyWi works on any iDevices and can only share a data connection, so you cannot share a Wi-Fi connection. MyWi is available for free in Cydia, but it only works on a trial basis for a limited period of time and then you have to buy a license that costs $20.
