SMSNinja blocks SMS/MMS and calls, is compatible with iOS 5.1 and brings new features

SMSNinja is a tweak presented by me a few weeks ago which, contrary to the name, allows users to filter SMS/MMS messages and calls received on their own terminals. The developer of the tweak allows anyone to set various rules regarding calls or messages that are rejected: depending on the number they are received from, depending on the words they contain or depending on the time they are received. You can choose to block contacts from the phonebook, contacts/phone numbers from the call list/from the Messages application or enter your own phone numbers, words or time slots in which any calls/messages are automatically entered into a list where they only you can see.

During the last evening, the application was updated, the new version bringing compatibility with iOS 5.1, new options for filtering plus some other news:

  • bug fixes
  • compatible with iOS 4.0 ~ 5.1
  • fixed all known bugs
  • better UI
  • more accurate blocking
  • extra options
  • a more detailed ReadMe

SMSNinja also allows users to protect their Messages and Phone applications with a password so that no one will be able to see your messages/call list unless they know that password. The same password also protects the SMSNinja application, so no one will be able to change it without you knowing. SMSNinja is free in Cydia's BigBoss repo.
