iBooks update available in the App Store

During this evening, the Apple company launched in the App Store an update for the famous iBooks application that allows us to read the books available in the App Store. The new version solves a problem that prevents users from logging in using their own Apple ID and Apple recommends everyone to close the iBooks application from the task switcher and restart it after installing the update. The second part of the changelog informs us that other functionality problems have been solved and the general performance has been improved, so everything should work much better than in the past.

iBooks 2.1.1 addresses an issue which prompts you to sign-in with your Apple ID at unexpected times. If you experience this issue, please open iBooks after updating.

This version also contains minor stability and performance improvements.

iBooks 2.1.1 is the new version of the iBooks application and you can install it for free on any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
