After a few days of rumors about the launch of the Google Drive service, today the company from Mountain View has officially launched its new cloud service. Practically, the new service offered by Google will give you the opportunity to load no less than 30 types of files on the company's servers, and you can then access those files from any computer, but not from iDevices because the company does not have an application in the App Store. Google Drive allows you to share and modify documents in real time, it is similar to iCloud in this respect but it is different in many other ways.

Google Drive uses Google Search to recognize objects in images and offers the option to extract text from certain types of pictures, but the interesting part is that it gives us the opportunity to generate links for each saved file. Google Drive is an interesting but completely useless system for iDevice owners in the absence of dedicated applications. Google Drive can be tried now here, and upon registration you get 5 GB of free space, and if you want more you can purchase 25 GB for $2.5 per month, 100 GB for $5 per month and 1 TB for $50 per month.
