Aerodrom allows you to use the AirPlay function from iDevices with Windows OS computers (Video)

Aerodrom is a program specially designed for computers running Windows and allows us to use the AirPlay function on iDevices with this operating system. Normally only with an Apple TV we can use the AirPlay function because Apple does not allow the use of this service in any other way, but thanks to programs like Aerodrom we can do the same on Mac or Windows computers. Aerodrom practically allows us to transfer the video feed, audio and more, from an iDevice to a computer screen and to watch movies/pictures taken with our terminals or videos from YouTube or movies copied to our own iDevices.

  • Photo streaming from your iPhone or iPad photo application.
  • Slideshow streaming.
  • Audio streaming from your iPhone, iPad or iTunes on Mac or PC.
  • Video streaming.
  • YourTube from the YouTube app on iOS.
  • Support for many AirPlay enabled third party apps.
  • The full version has no limitations and no overlays like the demo version.
  • Localization support (English/German)
  • Automatic updates.
  • Upgrades between minor versions are free for registered users.

The program was initially launched in August of last year, it has since been improved and now represents a very good method to watch multimedia content from your iDevice on a computer. Aerodrom is available in a demo version that can be downloaded for free, it can be used for a limited period of time but with limited functionality. The full version of Aerodrom can be bought for €10 from the developers' website, and in it you have access to all functions and you can use it for an unlimited period of time.

Both the free demo version and the full version are available here.

  1. it's not bad and I see that it works really well, although this can be very useful for those who don't have an Apple TV, I have both the PC and the Apple TV connected to the TV and I don't see the point of it anymore

  2. but an application should be vice versa from the laptop, PC to send to the TV, not video pictures, something like online TV, such as AirPlay but it should be for windows. I don't know if I made myself understood :((. I'm looking for something like playing from the laptop on the TV without an HDMI cable, online TV from an internet page. through apple TV ………….. is there a program >?

  3. @t35t that's what I'm looking for too. There are wireless TVs that would allow you to do this. I would be satisfied with a small thing, like Apple TV, which would let me connect to the TV.
