Although I would like to get to UEFA EURO 2012 to see at least one important match, unfortunately I don't have the money to make such an "expedition", but Orange Romania can and can help you get there with the help of a simple application called Orange Supporters' Cup and the Chase The Ball option. This application is based on a beautiful adventure that consists in "searching" for a treasure that is made up of the ball that will be used in the France - Sweden match that any of us can reach. All you have to do is to download the Orange Supporters' Cup application(which is free) from the App Store and to:
- download the application: after the Orange Supporters' Cup application has been installed on the smartphone, on the day of the competition the participants will receive a message informing them that the game has started and the search for the ball has begun.
- follow the ball: with the help of the app's integrated geolocation function, participants will receive hints based on the distance they are from the hidden ball.
- know the locality: each clue brings the participants closer and closer to where the ball is hidden and the map integrated in the application will also show them where the other players are - so they can follow their opponents while searching for the ball.
- communicate with friends: after finding the ball, players must use the app to upload a photo of themselves with the ball. They can then upload this photo to social media, sharing their special EURO 2012 momentTM with family, friends and colleagues.
The application will alert you when the treasure hunt begins and if you follow the clues you can find the "treasure" and win two tickets to UEFA EURO 2012 (with transport and accommodation included). The cities of Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca participate in this competition, so Orange Romania offers a total of no less than 8 tickets and anyone can participate, regardless of the mobile phone network they use. Opening the application, I found out that today, May 7, you can search for "treasure" in Bucharest, so it is advisable to hurry, maybe you will be lucky enough to win two tickets to probably the most important sports competition of the year. In the following weeks, the contest will take place in Iasi, Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca, so if you don't find it here, you have the chance to discover it there.
The first urban game will start on May 7, 2012 in Bucharest. The ball that will be used in the France-Sweden match will then be in Iasi, Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca in turn. The winner from each participating city will be chosen by drawing lots and will be rewarded with two tickets to the France - Sweden match; the prize includes transportation plus accommodation for two people.
