iOS 5.1.1 fixes an important security issue in the Safari browser

Last night the company Apple has officially released iOS 5.1.1 for iDevice owners and the changelog for this version of iOS only mentions bug fixes and the improvement of a few functions. Well, the changes are not just limited to that, because Apple has solved it and an important security problem of the Safari browser which can no longer be "tricked" into displaying a fake url to users. More precisely, Apple has solved it the URL spoofing issue I talked about here, but many weeks have passed since then.

Description: A URL spoofing issue exists in Safari. This could be used in a malicious web site to direct the user to a spoofed site that visually appeared to be a legitimate domain. This issue is addressed through improved URL handling. This issue does not affect OS X systems.

I assume the solution to this problem, but also to those concerning the Internet connection of the iPad 3 tablet and the impossibility of downloading applications from the App Store, led the American company to launch this version of iOS, but if you need jailbreak and unlock, DO NOT update on iOS 5.1.1 for now.
